Footprint Wales brings together a range of organisations including academics, government agencies, not for profit organisations and the Welsh Assembly Government who are working to reduce Wales' Ecological Footprint - environmental impact on the world.
The group aims to strengthen the Ecological Footprint as a tool to measure and promote social and economic sustainability in Wales. It invites organisations from within Wales who share this goal to join.
Through using the Ecological Footprint we can help decide on the best policies and lifestyle choices to make our lives in Wales more sustainable so that other nations and future generations can also enjoy the wonders of our planet.
