The group meets approximately three times a year to share best practice in using the Footprint and aims to:
 
  • co-ordinate Footprint research
  • promote best practice in the use and application of the Footprint
  • update and strengthen the value of the Footprint
  • ensure communication messages about the Footprint are consistent
  • share Footprint tools and experiences
  • work with the Global Footprint Network to build technical capacity of footprint practitioners
